Awesome place... Had a hot pastrami on rye with melted Swiss and spicy mustard. Mom had barley soup and half corned beef sandwich... All was good! Only wish they'd make matzo ball soup (but great service overcame)!

This is a great place to eat, normally I get carry out and have never had an issue. The breads they use are always good, never hard or dry. Multiple soups available everyday. Would recommend this place for anyone seeking a good sandwich and soup.

I was in the Metro Detroit area this past weekend for work. When my colleague who I was working with wanted to take me to lunch I asked him to take me to a good deli in the area. The food and service were top notch and I would definitely go back again. I highly recommend the Long Island Submarine sandwich with fries and slaw, you won't be disappointed.

Ate there for the first time today. We had take out, but the ambience was nice and quiet. The staff was all friendly and efficient. We split the New York style Reuben and it was fantastic. Definitely big enough to share or have leftover! Comes with a side, we had potato salad and it was good too. Will be going back.

Awesome place! They start off with a bowl of cut up deli pickles on every table. Love them. Food is always fresh and delicious. The chicken Ceasar salad is so good. Great place for a grilled deli sandwich too!

"That was impressive." Those were the exact words I spoke as I left this place at lunch. A good deli sandwich is hard to come by....but you will find them here. Now, I've only had the corned beef and pastrami offerings, but in my opinion, that's all a deli really needs. You get those two right and everything else is just white noise. Sandwiches are BIG...but that's not what makes them great. Correct ratio of all ingredients, perfectly toasted bread, and that ever-elusive "mmmmmm" when chewing. I also ordered the onion rings (at the insistence of our server)...and I'm very happy I did. Hand dipped, crunchy and fresh (tip - if the onion pulls all the way out when biting into an onion ring, it's a sign that the product was previously frozen). The only negative is the cole slaw....not creamy or vinegary....really just wet shredded cabbage. I had higher expectations for the cole slaw, but in all honesty, if that's the worst thing about this place, they're doing pretty good. All of the servers and team have bought into their mission statement that (paraphrasing here) you're the most important person in the building. Prices are a bit on the high side, but you should expect that at a good deli. Highly recommended from a guy that doesn't get impressed all that often.

If I could, I would give this place 2 1/2 stars. I went here for dinner on Friday, November 19, 2010. They were very busy, but I was seated quickly. The interior is relatively small. Despite having a full house, the whole time I was there, people never had to wait more than a few minutes to get a seat. They turned tables over relatively quickly. We were greeted quickly and the server arrived promptly. My server seemed very rushed. I was worried that she was not paying attention to my special order. Despite the fact that she did not write anything down, my food came as ordered. I love good deli food. Especially, big salads full of corned beef and Swiss cheese. Despite the fact that they specialize in corned beef, they do not offer a salad with corned beef in it. This was odd to me, as most delis seem to. They did allow me to order a Julienne salad and substitute the ham with corned beef. The food was merely average. The lettuce in my salad was not chopped enough. The lettuce had some brown spots that I had to remove. I questioned the cleanliness of the lettuce, too. The corned beef was layered on top of the salad in large strips. It was stringy and tough. I suspect that their corned beef comes pre-cooked from a supply company. In fact, I am guessing that not much is homemade here. I suppose some of our great Jewish delis in the area have spoiled me. Places that season and roast their corned beef in house. I was expecting something along the lines of the B.B Special salad found at the Bread Basket Deli in Oak Park. Instead, I got mediocre chain food. Overall, this place is average. Perhaps, my expectations were too high. Nevertheless, I like what I like! In my opinion, this place is really more like a diner that sells corned beef instead of a true deli.

This was my first time here, and the price and portions here is great. The place is clean, and the service was great. Food came out fast and our server was very attentive. Left very happy. My husband ordered the Rueben and he looked very happy with it. I ordered The Broadway and had it well done. The steak was not dry at all, so I'm happy with that. It came with a few choices, and I chose the vegetable soup and mash potatoes. The soup was really good. We also ordered a grilled cheese for my son, and I was expecting a small dinky grilled cheese sandwich, but man, even the kid's menu's food is a good portion as well. Also, save room for dessert. I was full after my meal, but my husband insisted we get the cheese cake. It was Raspberry and white chocolate. Man was that delish! I pretty much ate it all by myself! I will definitely be returning in the future. Found a new fav spot!
